I was born in Mendrisio in 1967.

I started with a commercial apprenticeship in my canton and studied many years later at the military academy at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH). In 2016 I completed an executive MBA at the University of Applied Sciences in the canton of Graubünden.

I am a professional officer in the Swiss Armed Forces. I currently train civilian cadres in leadership activities (management) in crisis situations.

My professional interests lie in leadership, the future, the army and digitisation.

A good manager expresses his or her deepest conviction, even if he or she must assume that he or she will reap criticism or risk jeopardising his or her career.
